I am writing this at 38,000ft flying above Greece returning from a short visit to Cyprus where I met with both the architect of The Grove Spa Resort and the architect of my new 5* Spa Resort in the golfing village of Tersefanou.  I am really pleased with the fine job both architects have done and I am happy that we have now received full planning permission for The Grove Spa Resort.

I had lunch with our bankers and discussed some new and innovative products they have in mind for the future which will be of great benefit to investors, particularly those who use Swiss Francs, Yen or US$ for their investment currency.

The Grove Spa Resort was featured this month in a Greek language property magazine which accompanies “In Business” the leading business publication on the island.  If you can read Greek, you will find the article here:

French Alps

Henry Powell-Jones at Jet-to-Let Investments hosted an investor weekend in the French Alps to view the Val d’Allos leaseback scheme we launched in January.  The team accompanied investors to the site where they met the developer and architect and later toured the area.  There is no better scenario for an investor than to be able to listen, discuss and learn everything about a scheme directly from the developer and architect while standing on the plot itself.  There is no substitute for this and the investors in France really benefited from the opportunity to check out their investment in detail.

Berlin

This week Henry is pre-launching Jet-to-Let Investments’ central Berlin refurbishment project and is contacting the 300 investors who have already registered their interest with us with the latest details. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is backing our support of the German and in particular the Berlin property market in its Emerging Trends in Real Estate Europe 2008 report. 

RICS states that: “Despite all the turbulence in the international markets, the German property market is still on the upturn.” The same report named Berlin in its top ten investment markets for 2008 and stated that Berlin was a city where demand for residential property exceeded supply.

Birmingham Property Investor Show

Robert Bence and Jemma Watchman spent the weekend at the Property Investor Show in Birmingham exhibiting with Jet-to-Let Magazine and enjoyed meeting so many subscribers on the stand.  

Issue 5

Jet-to-Let Magazine Issue 5 will be posted to you at the end of next week.  We have seen an exponential growth in circulation over the past 18 months and we now post the magazine to 49 countries!

New Staff

I would like to welcome Stephen Fawcett to Jet-to-Let Investments where he will be assisting investors with post purchase administration and Valerie Ziebart joins the Group as my new PA.
