We have spent the last year working with the architects, interior designers and landscape artists and have now received the final report from the quantity surveyors so we are well on the way to our pre-launch target date. All we need now is a name! I know there is already a tremendous amount of interest in this scheme and I will publish more details immediately prior to the launch.

Production of Issue 5 of Jet-to-Let Magazine is well underway and you should receive it through your letterbox just after 18th April. I must admit to being proud of the fact that my staff are all keen property investors and are themselves investing in the very schemes we offer you, whether in Cyprus or beyond. As an example, Doug is presently on holiday in Cyprus taking possession of another investment property and preparing it for rental. Rob is about to exchange contracts on a new villa in Cyprus, Karon and her family have bought several off-plan properties and Jonathan is proving very successful in letting his properties on holiday lets, so much so that I have asked him to write a book on how to do it! Other staff members are also investing.
I think it is a reasonable question to ask a property company whether their staff invest in the properties they are either developing or selling for third parties. My staff thoroughly believe in what we are doing and are backing their belief with their own money, time and commitment. It is also very reassuring for investors to know that the person on the end of the phone or who they meet face-to-face is a property investor who has been through the process himself and who understands all the elements of making an investment decision.
So, the next time a salesperson phones you with the “latest deal”, ask if he or she has invested in that deal or any of the other properties they are offering themselves. Looking around the property industry, I think I already know the answer………………..No.
