Distressed Assets’ Repossessed Property Conference 2010

Dear Investor,

We have been busy this week organising the Distressed Assets Repossessed Property Conference in London on the 30th January (a week on Saturday). You never know the potential response to events when you announce them, but I have been very pleased with the level of interest the conference has generated.

Angela Hesketh, a solicitor with David Roberts and Co, is one of our guest speakers.  She has been instrumental over the past 15 months in conducting the legal due diligence on the properties we have secured throughout the UK.  Angela specialises in the repossessed property sector and will share her experiences and knowledge in a talk entitled “Avoiding the Legal Pitfalls and Managing Risk”

Mark Rubinson, a partner and tax specialist in the city accountancy firm ABG , will give a talk on “How to Save Tax when investing in property.” I have been a client of Mark’s for a number of years and he is presently advising my company on a new business venture we are launching.  As a very successful property investor himself, Mark is perfectly qualified to give what I know will be a very enlightening and profitable talk.

You will also have the opportunity to speak with professional mortgage brokers and property investment specialists on a one-to-one basis. We have not had a single case of a client being refused a mortgage to purchase a Distressed Assets property, which is testament to the mortgage services we have access to and also to the quality of the properties acquired.

There will also be an opportunity to socialise with fellow delegates and speakers in the bar at the end of the formal programme.

Further details about the conference can be found at www.distressed-assets.co.uk and if you can spare 5 minutes, there is a brief video where I set the Conference in context. This can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5H2xOoVKZo

As we only have a few tickets remaining we are offering readers of my newsletter two seats for the price of one, until we reach capacity. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come first -served basis.

A single ticket for the conference is £97 + VAT but if you’re quick off the mark you can secure two places for the same price. It would be great to see you there.

If you have been following me on Twitter http://twitter.com/DominicFarrell you will have picked up on some of the positive data concerning the UK economy. Now “positive data” is a relative term, but given the recent figures on inflation, unemployment, business confidence, retail etc...It is highly likely that the UK emerged from recession during Q4 2009 which I forecasted in my video piece last year.

Nationwide has reported that UK property prices rose by 5.9% over 2009 (again in line with our forecasts).  The Distressed Assets press release with our forecast for 2010 can be found here

The property market has clearly stabilised significantly and the meltdown predicted by some did not materialise. At these levels, now is the ideal time to pick up some bargains in the repossessed sector and build that long-term wealth we all seek.
Hope to see you next week

Best wishes
